Oversee plant accounting functions, including cost accounting support, bill of material preparation and maintenance, standard cost changes, plant financial analyses, and related daily administration of accounting department for manufacturer of storage, organization, and transport products.
Oversee daily cost accounting and bill of material compilation and maintenance.
Prepare and maintain monthly plant reports and month end reporting requirements.
Perform process analyses through comparisons of standard data to actual manufacturing data including direct labor, mold yields, manufacturing processes, and secondary operations.
Analyze transactions to verify authorization and accuracy of inventory transactions, including material usage, scrap, cycle count, and miscellaneous adjustments; implement corrective steps when appropriate.
Create and provide plant production analyses supporting plant reporting needs and comparison to budgets.
Provide data regarding carrying cost of inventory and cost impact of labor and material changes on inventory, and review stocking levels with inventory management.
Assist in annual budget process.
Oversee requirements for plant Sarbanes-Oxley and assist with internal and external auditor requests.
