Seeking an individual with experience managing projects for design, manufacturing and product management of molded plastic auto parts who can manage multiple projects at a time while leading a team of engineers and technicians to successful product launches.
Activities:
Define project pacing and oversee the implementation of new program parts in highly automated manufacturing operations.
Plan and prioritize the work schedule of staff, ensuring that a full range of products is available to schedule, within cost objectives and conforming at all times to product release specifications.
Contribute directly to the overall output of the team by applying specialist technical and professional plastic molding knowledge and expertise for injection molding, insert molding, robotic part assembly and minimizing waste production.
Responsible for customer satisfaction, commercial success and staff development on projects led.
Requirements:
5+ years program management experience of complex multi-tool and multi-component manufacturing projects.
5+ years engineering experience working with injection molded plastics, liquid silicone rubbers or thermoset elastomers.
