Plan, direct, and lead manufacturing operations for precision molded plastic and rubber components and finished products, including production scheduling, customer interaction, process improvement, and material handling functions.
Participate in establishing short and long term business plans and strategies.
Lead production team to achieve and surpass business goals and objectives.
Develop, monitor, and react to key performance measurements for financial, safety, employee, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.
Responsible for profit and loss results for production operations.
Ensure customer orders are scheduled and produced within quoted lead times and in alignment with customer requests.
Recommend corrective actions to ensure conformity with customer specifications and standards throughout manufacturing operations and quality control, including stopping production as necessary.
Lead continuous improvement efforts to minimize cost, maximize profitability, and improve quality.
Manage and promote production improvement programs including quality, on time delivery, employee initiatives, production efficiency, productivity, and employee growth.
Direct review of plant safety and housekeeping practices; take action to correct potentially threatening situations or practices.
Maintain facility TS16949 certification.
Ensure compliance with quality and environmental standard certification guidelines and requirements.
