Design and test revolutionary contact based sensor components (thermocouple, piezo, impedance, etc.) using computer aided design software and finite element analysis.
Create fabrication drawings for sub-components. Model and run performance tests such as vibration, mechanical stress, heat transfer, etc. and resolve weaknesses. Ensure sub-components are compatible with instrumentation systems. Support the manufacturing team in interpreting designs for assembly.
