Account Manager (Commercial) | Insurance

Job Description: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Work with producers to service a book of business (large accounts). Candidate must communicate effectively to maintain agency service and retention standards. Stay ahead of the competition in an extremely competitive marketplace. Be proactive and take initiative when new products become available. Watch for and share industry news and changes with co-workers for continued team success. Requires a high level of customer interaction, creative marketing, preparing renewal proposals, analyzing coverage & programs, reviewing policies, suggesting additional coverage.

Required Competencies:

220 P&C License, Insurance designation(s) preferred
3 to 5 years or more of commercial property & casualty insurance experience
Work with producers to service a book of business (middle and large accounts).
Requires a high level of customer interaction, creative marketing, preparing renewal proposals, analyzing coverages & programs, reviewing policies
Strong knowledge of Florida insurance marketplace
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Detail oriented and able to multi-task in a high intensity environment with strong organization skills
Good work ethic
Proficient in Microsoft Systems, Word, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of Applied/TAM Management System preferred

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
Relocation Expenses: Not Covered

under 3 years 40k to 50k — 5+ years up to 70k
