Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Hospitalist to work in the Amsterdam, NY area on a locum assignment. This position would start in July and be ongoing for 6+ months. There are 2 openings to work day shifts.
Schedule:
– 7 am – 7 pm in house
– Prefer 7 on 7 off
– Will consider a candidate that requires travel
Requirements:
– Board Certified or Eligible
– If Family Medicine trained, must have previous Hospitalist or ICU experience
– Required procedures: Intubations, central lines (done with central line cart and ultrasound), basic vent management
More Details:
– 17-20 patients per day
– 3-4 Admissions per day
– EMR: Meditech
– Beeper call is not required
– Open ICU
Temporary/Emergency privileges will be granted to expedite credentialing for this position.
