Job Description:
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of experience in ETL development
5+ years experience in development maintenance and enhancements of
Informatica Mappings Workflows and processes
Experience working with complex SQL
Proven hands on experience with development maintenance and enhancements of
Informatica Mappings Workflows and processes
Expertise with integration technologies and processes
Main areas of responsibility:
Provide technical support for the administration and production support of
Informatica
Provide first and second level troubleshooting and baseline and operational
support
Lead team of ETL developers. Provide oversight work allocation and ensure
deliverable consistency quality and adherence to standards.
Design document and implement new ETL and enhancements and modify existing
code. Work independently to develop configure and unit test programs from specs
(source to target mappings)
Work closely with data architects reporting team and application team on ETL
development efforts including analysis and design of integration solutions and
enhancements. Must be able to explain and support decisions and actions taken
Design and document ETL solutions for projects estimate work effort and
oversee delivery with the ETL team
Present all work in design and code review sessions to senior team members
Prepare documents that describe and support code developed
Adhere to best practices and methodologies for ETL development team
Identify improvements to the data warehouse environment. Work with the team
to implement these solutions
Escalate issues to the right party when required.

Job Description:
Responsibility:
Scope develop and manage plans/schedules/deliverables for small to mid-sized
projects
Manage project timelines activities resources and budgets
Provide weekly status updates and Monthly Executive Status updates
Manage stakeholder expectations and negotiate with project stakeholders to
determine most accurate and appropriate definition of project scope and schedule
Work closely with technical resources and business analysts in the
interpretation of requirements and the translation into design specifications
Liaise between developers architects business analysts and QA analysts.
Foster clear communication between the disciplines.
Ensure that projects comply with audit requirements
Work closely with outsource development vendors
Track performance against objectives and develop corrective strategies when
objectives are not being met
Maintain relevant metrics to provide transparency on team performance
Resolve conflicting priories in scope schedule and cost for projects among
various stakeholder groups.
Facilitate discussion decision making and conflict resolution
Remove impediments by engaging the right personnel and or finding the right
solution
Additional projects and assignments as needed
Qualifications Skills and Experience:
Strong background in IT project management (5+ years) with detailed knowledge
of the software development life cycle methodologies. PMP desired
Background in Specialty Commercial Insurance and Reinsurance along with flow
of financial information strongly desired
Proven experience managing small to mid-sized IT projects independently
Demonstrated ability to plan and manage projects which span both business and
IT disciplines.
Demonstrated ability to successfully apply Agile and SDLC.
