Job Description

?                     Executing SAP implementation related engagements –
requirements gathering, design of best practices to leverage on SAP
functionality, implementation of relevant functionality in SAP Executing SAP
advisory engagements in areas of program management, design assistance or
review, configuration review, project risk engagements, data migration
engagements, segregation of duties design or review engagement

?                     Demonstrate good and practical knowledge of SAP and tis
applicability of various facets of business and sectors Steep learning curve
and adapting to new client situations quickly and work under a competitive
environment

?                     Ensuring quality and timely delivery of projects
Interacting with various Head of Brands and CFO/CEO level personnel, SAP
implementation partner teams, client IT team and other stakeholders

?                     Should be able to drive converting business
requirements to technical solutions

?                     Maintain excellent relationship with managed services?
vendor(s) and with business teams

 

Key Responsibilities

?                     Provides specialist level functional and configuration
knowledge in designing SAP solutions in the MD, SD, MM and WM modules of ECC 6

?                     Should have good understanding of SAP offerings with CAR

?                     Good skills in configuring Article Master, Sales
Scheduling Agreements, Sales Orders, Outbound Deliveries, Retail Pricing,
Customer returns, Purchase Requisition (PR), Request for quotation, Purchase

?                     Order (PO), Agreements, Info records, Release
Procedures, Pricing, Automatic Account determination, Inventory Management,
Reservation, Transfer Posting, Stock Transfer and Physical Inventory process,
valuation and batch management, split valuation , batch management etc.,.

?                     Should have configuration knowledge of Assortment and
Listing, AH, MCH, Pricing & Promotion.

?                     Should have configuration knowledge of Idoc, Site
Master, Article Master & merchandise distribution.

?                     Should be able to write functional specifications in
detail.

?                     Good skills in configuring warehouse management
structures ? storage types, storage bins etc

?                     Should have good experience in configuring extending
Article masters to warehouse management functions , batch management in
warehouse, shelf life functionality, Warehouse movements, transfer requirements
, transfer orders, goods receipts with inbound delivery, goods issues with
outbound deliveries, picking and packing and handling unit, stock
replenishment, fixed bin replenishment, picking strategies- FIFO, LIFO,SLED
,Put-away strategies-fixed bin, open bin, next empty bin, near bin, inventory
processes , storage unit management, Mobile data entry , RF technology and
devices, Crossdocking

?                     Understands configuration dependencies and
interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and provide
expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this area with this
knowledge Conducts or participates in user requirements gathering, blueprinting
& documentation designs.

?                     Ensure compliance to existing, and development of
required data and reporting standards.

?                     Ensure the integrity of the Warehouse Management
configuration of the SAP system across multiple landscapes.

?                     Support production configuration and assist in
functional change requests.

?                     Support business implementations by sharing best
practice configuration skills.

?                     Assist with responding to user requirements, problem
resolution, develop designs, and process modelling.

?                     Conduct configuration changes to accommodate change
requests and prototype activities.

?                     Demonstrate proof of concept & assist in training
activities

?                     Perform initial testing of problem fixes, change
request, enhancements, and new functionality.

?                     Work with the Service Desk to facilitate incident &
problem resolution.

?                     Work with SAP to resolve software bugs.

?                     Keep abreast of SAP releases, enhancements/new
functionality and perform application research.

?                     Participate in release upgrade or new functionality /
enhancement assessments and make recommendations.

?                     Perform break/fix analysis and recommend solutions for
finance related processes.

?                     Develops functional specifications and works with BASIS
and ABAP personnel resources to complete object development and testing

?                     May lead and coordinate the work of a small team

?                     Provides leadership in the development of functional
skills in others through active knowledge sharing
