OVERVIEW
We are looking to hire a Mainframe Security Team Lead for a federal client located in Washington DC. The ideal candidate will possess experience with IBM Mainframes as well as experience conducting security assessments of mainframe systems. The candidate will lead a small team conducting an Assessment & Authorization (A&A) of a FISMA High impact mainframe system to ensure that systems are compliant with applicable policies, procedures, contracts and regulatory requirements.
GENERAL DUTIES
Experience with IBM mainframes
Technical Team lead experience preferred
Experience with z/OS, CA-Top Secret, ACF2, DB2, RACF, CICS, IMS, VTAM, Endevor
The candidate must have knowledge and understanding Federal Directives including NIST 800 Series and FISMA.
Security Assessment & Authorization (SA&A) and technical testing of mainframe systems
Experience with a variety of security testing tools such as: Nessus, Nmap, Kali Linux, Core Impact, Nipper, WebInspect, AppDetective, TCP/IP utilities
Ability to provide detailed findings and recommendations pertaining to areas of security concern
Possession of a high level of expertise in Cyber Security concepts, information security policies and system architecture concepts.
Possession of strong organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple tasks with multiple deadlines
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Possession of excellent Analytical and data gathering skills
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS
10 years of mainframe security experience
CLEARANCE
Full US Citizen
