NEED::Sr. BI Engineer

Location : Sunnyvale, CA

Duration : 6+ Months

Job Description :

As part of the International eCommerce Data Analytics team, you ll be
responsible for creating a rich and delightful user experience. You will be
responsible for providing Analytics Intelligence solutions for the entire
business units in Mexico. As a senior member of the group, you will also be
responsible for working directly with business users and building scalable data
visualizations in Looker and/or Tableau, and performing ad-hoc analysis on
business problems that provide actionable insights

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities :

Minimum 6-7 years of BI development experience using commercially available
BI tools

1-2 years of proven, recent experience with Looker development

Experience working with real-time BI development utilizing streaming
platforms like Kafka

Experience defining optimized database/Big Data schemas that power the
dashboards.

Proven experience in taking the requirements and developing business
dashboards and reports

Highly proficient with SQL , PIG, Hive

Experience with Python, PySpark,

Proven experience developing business user friendly and useful dashboards and
reports

Experience supporting user issues for data, providing operational support

Provide analytics tools and training to drive actionable insights into key
business performance metrics

Define SLA and acceptable time lags by data source, define QA process, and
socialize resolution process to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Create source to target mapping documents for data assets

Experience with Cloud Technologies ( GCP, Azure)

Retail experience is huge plus —
