Job Description:
To support our continued growth in the global market for Application
Development Services we seek an executive level technology leader to drive our
continued growth.

HCL technical leader providing strategic technical consultancy to the world?s
largest and most sophisticated enterprises.

A thought-leader and deeply credible technologist, the Director with business
and technology executives to formulate and execute that support large and
complex multiple programs and the creation of complex hybrid Enterprise IT
environments.

Acting as a commercially minded but deeply technical leader, the Director
leverages the rich selection of HCL offerings to deliver a complete unified
transformation journey for our clients.

Comfortable as both a strategist and architect, the role totally dominates
the relationship between HCL and our clients and is the authoritative owner of
the complete journey. Encompassing strategic advice, architecture, roadmap
creation, assessment, migration, process transformation, development and the
operation of hybrid IT estates; this role represents a rare opportunity for a
senior technologist to join an executive team transforming largest Fortune 100
organization.

Key aspects of the role include:

? Understands the client?s business and technology strategies, formulates
Application Modernization and custom Apps Development strategy that will
achieve the client?s desired outcomes.

? Demonstrable strategic vision, describing a that brings real business value
to the client.

? Leading discussions centering architecture and design of complex IT and
Digital (Agile/Devops/ ITIL) environments, making a vision real and describing
an implementable next-generation landscape that would include migrated,
modernized and new applications solutions.

? Recommending, guiding and leading a client?s technology approach across the
cloud and Digital Platform Incorporating:

o Application Modernization

o Custom Apps Development (SOA/APIs/Cloud /Micro Services)

o Creation of technology roadmaps

o Application readiness assessments

o Migration & Modernization

o Business Process transformation

? Strategic and tactical planning skills, delivering complex and profitable
engagements

 

Responsibilities:

?        Engages with HCL large account and CxO level executive management.

?        Manage large onsite and offshore team (Team size 300 Members)

?        Be the custodian of the account(s) for HCL managing $25+ Mn
Application Delivery. Must have sound knowledge of large P&L management

?        Build, grow and enhance strategic partnership with client, and meet
top line and bottom line goals

?        Sound functional / Business process/ technical knowledge

?        Be able to interface with customer architecture team and senior
leadership on emerging technologies, relevance to environment and suggest the
roadmaps

?        Leads client-level strategy and envisioning sessions

?        Leads a functionally aligned project team consisting of Technical
and Solution Architects, together with Cloud Specialists covering domains such
as assessment, migration, modernization, development, automation and next
generation IT fix price programs.

?        Assists in the development of the technical community. Shares
knowledge and technical expertise.

?        Responsible for the creation and curation of Reference
architectures, blueprints and other reusable assets.

?        Excellent customer relationship management at Vice President/CXO
levels ?expertise in presenting Operations and Strategic reviews to senior
stake holders

?        Excellent communication and Presentation skills

?        Thought leadership to create ideas to solve customer pain points
through proactive solutions

?         Create and leverage networks in the client organization and
establish ?trusted relationships? at the Sr. Management levels

?        Responsible for profitable completion of successful multiple client
engagements

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

? Fifteen years or more of Application delivery management experience. 5+
years managing large strategic accounts (Preferably from Hitech domain)

? Proven experience of managing P&L of upwards of $20+ million.

? Experience in Global Delivery Models with demonstrable knowledge of
processes and methodologies

? Ability to manage multi-cultural teams

? Willing to travel to different client locations – and to delivery centers
overseas

? Prior experience of managing a $20M+ portfolio (Onsite /Offshore) ,
demonstrable ability to mine and grow accounts to very large levels is essential

? Thought leadership/ Execution leadership

? Experience in managing large, multi-service line Managed service
engagements spread across multiple geographies

? Thrives as a self-starter and entrepreneur but also knows how to drive a
diverse team towards a common goal. Enjoys working in a fast paced and client
centric environment.

? Results-driven leader, acts with a sense of urgency

? Strong relationship building skills and Ability to communicate with
stakeholders across all groups including the CXO of organizations

? Having worked in consulting roles in the past would be added plus

 

Education

Bachelor?s or relevant four-year degree is required. A Master?s degree is
preferred.
