HVAC/REFRIGERATION SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Highly skilled service technician to assist us with our Dallas/Fort Worth (and periodically East Tx) Markets. We are already established with a great customer base, This is a full time long term position. This particular position requires a minimum of 10 years experience in commercial kitchens with an emphasis on Appliance, Refrigeration & HVAC.

Area

Mostly DFW, however there will be times you will need to travel to East Texas & Wichita Falls. We pay for drive time minus 30 minutes there and back. This is not a “9-5” job, some days will be long and on call is a requirement for all technicians with a 1 hour response time to calls issued to the on call technician.

Advancement

This position is for a senior technician, we have a service manager and a trainer. We need someone that is ready to get in a truck and roll immediately (after initial software training).

Duties

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and Hot side Equipment.
Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on various systems including hot side, air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems.
Be the “investigator” as our business requires.
Provide exceptional customer service while addressing client needs in property maintenance and appliance repair.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation and safety compliance in all service tasks.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job in our web based application.
Requirements

10+ Years Proven experience as a HVAC/R & Hot Side Service Technician.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in our field.
Strong Familiarity with hot side, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical & electrical Issues.
Valid driver’s license is required to drive one of our vehicles.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Valid (EPA 608) and technician registration card is required. (TDLR)
We work in schools so you must be able to pass a background screening
