In this role, you should specialize in specific areas like economics, social policy, or foreign affairs. You will be expected to advise clients on matters including regulatory compliance, risk management, and market analysis. Additionally, conducting research and analysis will be crucial to support strategic decision-making and help clients navigate complex policy environments.
Responsibilities
– Monitor and evaluate global political and economic trends, assessing their implications for clients’ interests.
– Conduct research and produce comprehensive reports relevant to ongoing projects.
– Provide expert advice on current political and policy trends in the in the major regional economic powers, including potential business ramifications.
– Remain informed about current events and geopolitical shifts to ensure timely and relevant insights.
– Analyze foreign policy decisions and their potential effects.
– Build and strengthen relationships with key international stakeholders and governmental organizations to enhance collaboration and influence.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Economics, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field.
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role. Prior experience in international relations, international conflict resolution, congressional relations or equivalent a bonus.
– Extensive experience and understanding of international political environment.
– Ability to synthesize information from various sources.
– Ability to work with a team of professionals in a remote environment on expedited timelines.
– Highly motivated individual with ability to self-task and develop own research.
– Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
Salary
Starting Pay: $30-$60 per hour
Expected hours: 8-15 hours per week
Individual pay is based on location, transferable skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
