We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate Paralegal II to join our Legal Department team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA- Hybrid (currently requiring a minimum of three days in the office out of every five working days).

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Supporting the US Asset Servicing business line legal team that has responsibility for servicing registered and unregistered investment funds, investment managers, banks and other financial institutions, public funds, insurance clients, employee benefit trusts, endowments and foundations and other institutional asset owners and supporting BNY’s businesses that develop and license software products and offer related professional services.
Assist attorneys in providing legal services to the Asset Servicing business.
Draft, review, and revise legal agreements and correspondence specific to Asset Servicing.
Assist with drafting, filing and maintaining department form agreements.
Process client requests by obtaining relevant information and asking pertinent questions.
With general oversight, conduct fact-finding and legal or regulatory research and prepare findings for review by attorneys.
Support outside counsel engagements, by arranging critical exchange of information and reviewing incoming documents for relevance and proper dispensation.
Maintain, organize and update document files and electronic documentation systems to ensure all documents are easily accessible and to preserve and protect confidential client and firm information. Prior experience using iManage a plus.
Communicate with internal and external clients, outside counsel and other BNY stakeholders.
Perform administrative tasks as requested such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling special projects.
Contribute to achievement of firm and department objectives.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for managing and executing tire vehicle testing within North America for Kumho America Technical Center (KATC). This includes scheduling, obtaining quotes, acquiring test vehicles and wheels, ordering necessary benchmark tires, collecting test data, creating official test reports, and communicating results back to the requested tire engineer. Ability and willingness to travel within North America to test sites as programs dictate. •Acquire test vehicles (rent/lease) and wheels (rent or KATC inventory)

•Arrange tire/wheel mounting and shipment to and from Proving Grounds

•Collect test data at Proving Ground, create reports and communicate results

•Manage North America external testing with third party test evaluators

•Manage and schedule snow handling and traction testing

•Collaborate with tire engineers to improve data collection process

•Align with other Kumho test drivers for consistent test procedures and evaluations

•Ability and willingness to travel to proving grounds as programs dictate

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES / EDUCATION

•4-year Bachelors Degree in a technical field

•Prior tire test driver experience for vehicle testing (3+ years)
