Description/Comment:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a member of the Customer Contact Center.
The CSR is responsible for responding to a high volume of inquiries about the company’s products or services by following standard scripts, policies, and procedures.
The Associate Customer Service Representative takes inbound calls, LiveChat, and/or emails from examinees and others regarding teacher certification programs, website issues, complaints, etc.
● Trained in and proficient in responding to inquiries across many programs.
At a minimum, 10 programs and at least one communication channel.
● Identify customer needs and expectations
● Responsible for promptly and accurately addressing customer inquiries using various systems and resources (computer systems, published materials, and websites)
● Serve as primary contact for inbound customer issues. Escalate more technical product-related issues to the proper Product Support department.
● Track and document inbound support requests using established Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and ensure proper notation of customer problems or issues. Update customer information and ensure accurate entry of contact information.
● Maintain quality service by following established policies and procedures
● Ensure proper security procedures are followed on all customer interactions
● Other duties as assigned

Minimum Required Skills:
● Call Center experience is a plus, but will train the right person.
● Must be proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel), PC operations, web browsing, and web navigation
● Should have knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
● Demonstrate excellent time management, organizational, and problem solving skills
● Excellent oral and written communication skills. Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
● Strong attention to detail and good listening skills
● Experience with LiveChat a plus.
Closed on most major holidays.

Ideal candidate must be able to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, Friday 11:30am-8pmEST and Saturday 8:45am-5:15pmEST. Candidate will have Sunday off and option for Wednesday or Thursday off. Dependent upon where they are located, they will work within those timezone hours (for example, CST: 10:30-7, MST: 9:30-6, PST 8:30-5) Candidates with Call Center and/or customer service (retail/restaurant) backgrounds are best.
We are seeking candidates who are detail oriented and have experience with managing support in line with policy, privacy and HIPPA guidelines .
We are an information only Contact Center, providing inbound support to inquiries related to teacher certification testing.
There is little outbound calling and no sales or marketing component.

The University of Oregon seeks applications for a Planning Associate/Space Analyst in the Campus Planning Office. This dynamic position is part of a team that participates with department leadership and staff in strategic planning on aspects of campus planning and space management. Responsibilities include projecting space needs, developing analytical space use studies for departments and colleges, coordinating space programming and space planning projects, and developing goals and metrics for achieving space management objectives set by university leadership.

Department Summary

Position Summary
This position reports to the Director of the Campus Planning office in Campus Planning and Facilities Management and participates with department leadership and staff in strategic planning on aspects of campus planning and space management. This position advises university administration on issues related to space allocation and works closely with the Campus Planning Space Management Team and the Space Advisory Group to perform services related to space programming and space planning.

Responsibilities include establishing and implementing “best practice” standards for projecting space utilization and needs; researching, analyzing, organizing and directing analytical space studies including departmental/college space use reports; coordinating space programming and space planning projects; assisting with the university’s biennial capital construction needs submittal to the State of Oregon; and developing goals and metrics for achieving space management objectives set by university leadership. This position also engages in general university or specific project planning efforts.

Interactions/contacts occur daily with the campus community in the course of performing work and responding to requests. The position will need to work effectively with faculty, staff, students and outside customers from a variety of diverse backgrounds.

Position works as a member of a team while frequently performing tasks independently. Decisions may be made about the best method and materials necessary to perform a particular task. They may also include setting priorities, assessing customer needs and responding to those needs.

Work is reviewed directly by the supervisor to ensure it is performed efficiently, safely, and meets both expectations and applicable requirements. A performance appraisal is conducted annually.

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelors degree (or higher) in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Planning, or a related field; AND
• Two years of professional experience in architectural programming, space planning, planning, and design issues with public processes.
