Position: Azure Lead Engineer with Terraform Expertise

Location: Remote

– Microsoft Azure Certified with 10+ years? experience in IT along with
minimum of 6+ years of experience in Azure Cloud.
– 3+ years of experience in Terraform, Infrastructure of a Code
– Direct experience with Infrastructure, administration, applications,
building, and/or supporting Microsoft Azure.
– Install, configure, automate, and monitor various cloud offerings,
Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service (IaaS, PaaS).
– Contributes to the designs and deployment of infrastructure solutions
meeting standardization, consolidation, TCO, security, regulatory
compliance and application system qualities, for different businesses
– Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid
infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
– Experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios in
enterprise-wide environments (including migration of on-premises workloads
to the cloud)
– Experienced in IAC (Infrastructure as Code), Terraform, Ansible, Linux
Sys Admin (RHEL/Ubuntu/Alpine), Jenkins, Azure DevOps with Continuous
Integration and Continuous Delivery.
– Automate deployment and Implement infrastructure compliance and
security using PowerShell, Git, ARM, terraform templates also leveraging
native or 3rd party tools like Terraform, Chef, puppet, etc.
– Develop and deliver scripts and automation tools used to build,
integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms.
– Good knowledge on Microsoft Identity and Access Management products,
Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools, including Azure Monitor,
App Insights and Log Analytics.
– Provide PaaS, IaaS, SaaS solutions and maintain the governance model
on the architecture through design reviews, code reviews, and progress
reviews
– Design a version control strategy, integrate source control, manage
build infrastructure, implement code flow, manage application configuration
and secrets.
– Experience with scalable architectures using Azure Networking, Azure
Application Gateway, Software configuration Management, Clustering, Azure
App Service, serverless technologies, container orchestration (e.g.,
Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry etc.), API management, microservice frameworks
etc.
– Deep domain expertise of cloud infrastructure solutions (i.e., AMI
Packers, Windows and Linux IaaS, SAP, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage,
Networking, OSS, containers and Infra as a code technologies)
– One or more of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Java,
Node.js, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby on Rails, Pig/Hive, Java, Dot Net.
– AD domain administration for global infrastructure covering
on-premises, Azure, AWS, Okta use cases
– AD group automation and integration with cloud services
– Management of AD policies, groups and users for a secure
multi-subscription Azure environment
– Implement policies across Azure to control resources and services to
type and geo-locations
– Strong understand of network concepts: routing, name services,
security groups, ports and protocols
– Advise on the cloud strategy roadmap, improvements, alignment by
bringing in industry best practice/trends and work on further improvements.
– Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities
and application deployment issues. Good knowledge on query optimization and
performance tuning.
