Job Description:-

Should have at least 10 years? experience as a business analyst having
Banking domain experience. Create process models in Appian.
Business Analyst analyses the requirements and design its processes and
systems, assessing the business model and its integration touch points using
Appian.
Connect with Business to understand problem statements and areas of
inefficiencies. To be able to recommend technical and operational solutions to
businesses with pragmatic knowledge.
Utilize requirement gathering, elicitation, and analysis techniques to
convert business pain points in executable pieces of work- operationally or
technically.
Prepare specifications from client requirements using agile & BA best
practices to remove ambiguity as much as possible
Analyze Functional, Non-Functional, Technical, Integration requirements and
assess the Data sources and data flow through integrations and Web API?s and
document in a manner that can be easily implemented via Appian BPM.
Create process flows, EPICs, Features, Backlogs of User Stories with
appearance criteria?s, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers
and /or the project team
Assist with the interpretation of customer requirements into feasible
options and communicating these back to business stakeholders.
Collaborates with stakeholders to determine project scope and vision.
Stakeholder Management during Project/program lifecycle
Understand & execute the business rules, run User acceptance testing, and
find quick solutions to problems
Prepare and manage project plans for the overall timeline and do timely
risk management
Manages and track the status of requirements throughout the project
lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
Communicate, Translate, and simplify business requirements to ensure buy-in
from all stakeholders.
Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing
requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or
further leveraging these processes
Analysis and assessment of the relevant business issues.
Be focal point between Business, Stakeholders, Technical team, Vendors,
Testers, Management, etc.
Work directly with and along the implementation team to ensure delivery and
implementation of the software solution
Quality assurance and testing throughout the project’s lifecycle
Identify product enhancements opportunities
Comply with the organization’s Legal, Compliance & Security standards
Consult with managerial, Business departments, and technical personnel to
clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.
Answering the technical and functional queries, driving the product
initiatives and metric collection and analysis.

Principal Accountabilities

 

?         Providing technical and data leadership to organization

IT and other functions.

as semi / unstructured data ( across on-prem as well as on cloud)

?         Prepare framework to review projects to ensure short term and long
terms data strategy are followed by project delivery teams

?         Build a framework of principles to ensure data integrity across the
business

?         Identify and evaluate new data management technologies

?         Develop and Integrate technical functionality (e.g. scalability,
security, performance, data recovery, reliability, etc.)

The Team:
Part of the team which acquire, transform, manage and distributes data to
multiple groups within the Company to perform business critical functions which

reference data for securities. The primary role of this group is to acquire
data from multiple market providers like Bloomberg, Morning Star, S&P, Moody?s,
Fitch etc. and prepare data in business-friendly format by applying business
transformation and validations. Once the data is converted into
business-friendly format make the data available to multiple consumers through
API, Feed, Golden Gate distribution and other channels like Queue, Streaming
etc.

The Role:
As part of UAP (Unified Acquisition Platform) team you will be working on
enhancing the next generation in-house acquisition platform using cloud
technologies. UAP will be built using Java Spark and Python programming
language and use AWS EMR as the infrastructure for execution. You would be
developing lambda, Spark, Python utilities for managing end to end feed flow.
We will focus on building tools and capabilities to accelerate acquisition,
compare data across vendors, externalize rules for data conversion, build
inventory/registry of feeds and track lineage.

You would be focusing on:
? Develop new application for managing feed inventory and tracking their usage
? Developing application interface using Java Spark for converting vendor
feeds into business-friendly format
