Paws in the Land is constantly growing & in order to grow further & continue to provide the best pet care to more and more clients we are looking to add to our team of pet sitters & dog walkers.

Ideally we are looking for candidates with a flexible schedule as some of our current and new clients have varying schedules & sometimes we have last minute requests from clients.

We are looking to add a qualified individual to the team for Monday-Friday daytime pet care visits that are typically scheduled between the hours of 7am-4pm. We don’t always have early morning clients every day but we do have an influx of those during the heighten times of traveling (spring, summer, later fall and holiday times)

We are looking to add a qualified individual to the team for Monday-Friday evenings for visits and walks during the 5pm-10pm time blocks

We are looking to add a qualified individual to the team for weekend pet care visits between the hours of 7a-4pm. And evening nighttime visits between the hours of 5pm-11pm.

We are looking to add a qualified individual to the team for overnight pet care visits. We don’t get as many requests for overnight pet care. But we do get booking requests for this service at least a few nights or more per month.

We are looking to hire qualified individuals for the above mentions days and time blocks. If your availability allows you to do pet care visits for more than daytime alone or evening/nighttime alone please indicate it on the application

Pay ranges from $18-$20 an hour and we offer mileage reimbursement, additional pay for holidays worked & tips.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age & a U.S citizen or legally allowed to work in the U.S. Must be able to pass an in depth background check, pass a drug test & provide personal and professional references.

Must be good with dogs, know how to handle & control & walk dogs of all weights, sizes & breeds. Preferably also looking for someone who is good with cats as we have a lot of cat clients/ households with both dogs and cats.

Must have a reliable car as this job requires you to go directly to the clients homes to care for their pets/walk their dogs.

Must be very responsive to communication (text/phone/email). As our clients communicate with us via text and through the app software we use for scheduling & if there is a scheduling change the client or myself notify you through text, etc.

Must me reliable and punctual and complete pet care visits in their scheduled time block. For example a client may want a walk or visit for their pet in the 1pm-330pm time block, so the half hour visit/walk must be completed in that time block.

Amount of hours per week depends on your availability and the clients needing pet care each week. We have many clients who need us for several walks a week and many who regularly travel & are constantly getting requests from new clients.
