Role:

The Clinical Nurse Manager provides direction and supervision of nursing services in the Family Practice Dept. at the Daniel Driscoll-Neponset Health Center, in accordance with all applicable Massachusetts State Laws as well as regulations promulgated by the Department of Public Health and in accordance with Harbor policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Coordinates the day-to-day flow of patient care within the clinic.
In collaboration with Practice Director and the Site Medical Director, recommends, implements, and problem solves activities regarding department operational issues.
Supervises, develops, and directs Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants and related support staff.
Hires, Orients, evaluates, and disciplines staff.
Schedules all clinical and support staff.
Assists with support of clinical session including triage, immunization and case management as needed.
Develops and implements systems for stocking, reordering, storage and maintenance of department supplies, medications and equipment, per company policy.
Assists in review and development of patient education materials.
Assists in the development and revision of department policies and procedures.
Assists in the development, implementation and review of department quality improvement and infection control activities.
Assists in development of departmental clinical outcome and health plan goals and objectives.
Assists in development of departmental visit and personnel budget and manages the personnel budget including payroll variance report.
Maintains ongoing relationships with outside organizations (i.e. ABCD, Avon, etc.), which support departmental initiatives.
Monitors grant expenditures as appropriate.
Facilitates strategic plan goals as appropriate.
Develops, implements and monitors infection control program in compliance with DPH, HRSA and other pertinent regulatory agencies.
Develops and implements department QI plan that meets DPH, HRSA and other regulatory agency requirements.
Requirements:

Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing, RN required, BSN/MSN preferred
3 years of experience in clinical nursing required
1 year of supervisory experience required
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Intermediate computer skills (Electronic Medical Record, MS Office, Windows)
Ambulatory nursing experience preferred
Experience with Electronic Medical Records required, EPIC/OCHIN preferred
Must be able to handle multiple requests and prioritize appropriately

Provide Physiotherapy assessments using advanced skill, knowledge and clinical reasoning within assigned area.
Apply advanced clinical knowledge and reasoning to the development and implementation of Physiotherapy treatment programs for clients/ patients including developing innovative solutions to assessment and treatment issues.
Document information including relevant clinical data, assessments, treatment plans and progress reports and care plans.

Education, Training and Experience

You will have autonomy and flexibility when scheduling your day to meet the participants needs and your own. You will have the option to use our complete therapy clinic or assess and treat in the home setting of each participants.

What You Bring:

Graduation from a Physical Therapy education program approved by one of the following; Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), successor organizations of CAPTE, education program outside of the US determined to be substantially equivalent to PT entry level education in the US by a credentials evaluation organization approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Passed an examination approved by the state of Colorado.
Currently licensed as a PT by the state of Colorado and maintained throughout employment.
1 year of PT experience preferred; 2 to 3 years of home health or other home-based PT experience preferred.
What We Offer:

Range of $42-$48 per hour, depending on experience
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule
Additional pay for bilingual fluency
