Eagle Harbor LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking Crime Gun Forensics Technicians to support our customer, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in Wichita, KS.

Crime Gun Forensic Technicians primarily perform image and correlation reviews of firearms ballistic, related evidence through the ATF’s National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN). They analyze crime gun intelligence for law enforcement agencies, but do not participate in criminal investigations. By utilizing crime gun intelligence, the Forensic Technicians assist in identifying armed violent criminals, members of violent gangs and criminal organizations who are involved in shootings, violent criminal activity, or firearms trafficking which ATF and/or its State, local, and tribal partners may investigate.

Description:

Crime Gun Forensic Technicians primarily perform image and correlation reviews of firearms ballistic related evidence through the ATF’s National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN). Technicians will also support services related to data entry into various formats and databases. This position requires the ability to apply experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed in searching, interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from a variety of document sources. Candidate must possess the skill and ability to analyze, summarize, report, and share information.

Position Responsibilities:

Perform image and correlation reviews to determine possible law enforcement leads;
Perform quality control review of images for NIBIN Partner sites;
Assist with training;
Assisting with the Acquisition of ballistic evidence
Enter data into spreadsheets.
Enter data and updating charts and reports.
Summarize information in writing.
Establish rapport with others to accomplish objectives.
Position Minimum Requirements:

Valid US Driver’s License
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued security clearance.
Must be able to successfully complete the ATF clearance process.
Must be willing to provide a DNA sample as part of employment screening.
B.S. Degree from accredited college or university preferred. Combination of formal education, work experience and on-the-job training may be substituted.
Must successfully pass the training program and yearly required competency tests.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and able to qualify to established weld processes for aluminum and steel welds, joints, and will be willing to work on-site as well as onboard US Navy and US Coast Guard vessels to complete jobs for customers on time and on budget.

Qualified candidates will be expected to:

Implement and monitor OSHA safety practices.
Qualify and maintain qualification to established MIG, TIG and other types of welds based on project needs on aluminum, mild steel, stainless steel materials.
Field install welds, including duct work, equipment foundations, piping, light fixtures, vents, fans, metal sheeting and other parts.
Select proper fillers for jobs based on previous experience or project instructions.
Report job progress to the Job Lead, Team Lead or Project Manager and recommends changes as required such as changes in personnel, material, or tools.
Position Requirements:

United States Citizenship.
Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
Must be able to acquire and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; candidates currently possessing an Active Secret Clearance are preferred.
Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
Capable of making sound welds using SMAW, GMAW and GTAW methods.
Versed in the use of all types of fabrication and testing measuring instruments.
Ability to learn marine piping systems temperature/pressure parameters.
Understand joint design requirements and efficiency levels and joint fit-up specifications for fabrication and repair of piping systems and structural elements.
Understanding of all hot work requirements.
Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and drawings.
Understanding of the requirements for operational and hydrostatic testing of repair or modified ship’s piping or structural members.
Basic understanding of acceptance/rejection criteria and different NDT inspections related to job completion.
Ability to pass a written workmanship exam.
Ability to write clear and concise reports.
Ability to become Competent Person certified.
Ability to plan and make working recommendations for system configuration changes.
Ability to use mechanical and digital test equipment, take temperature readings, hand and power tools associated with metallurgy.
Candidate must be willing to travel CONUS & OCONUS at times.

· Develop processes to identify and report program/project functional metrics to determine critical path progress to plan and assist in identification of risk mitigation actions to assist in maintaining project timelines.

Position Requirements:

· US Citizen.

· Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance; Candidates currently possessing an Active Secret Clearance (or higher) are preferred.

· Should be a graduate of high school, trade, or industrial school and have four years of experience with operation, installation, repair, modification and maintenance of shipboard Hull, Mechanical and Electrical systems and equipment

Preferred education & experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business.

· Five (5) years’ experience as a Project Manager.

o Experience to include contract & sub-contract management, budgeting, scheduling, planning, estimating and progress reporting.

o Experience in the supervision of personnel performing installation, maintenance, and repair of HM&E ship systems.

o Perform quality control functions related to mammography
o Assist in the compilation and maintenance of statistical data
o Follow infection control and safety guidelines

A CANDIDATE FOR THIS POSITION WILL HAVE:
• Completed of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology and (M) certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
• Licensure: Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Knowledge of database software, eRad, Sectra RIS/PACS software is preferred;
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred;
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology;
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
