Scientist, PAYS $23/HR Rochester, NY

Scientist needs 3-5 years of laboratory experience
Scientist requires:
 0-1 year experience Or an AAS degree
 3-5 years of laboratory experience
 Experience in SAP and document management systems a plus.
 40+ Hours/ wk on a rotational shift schedule Monday – Friday (Occasional Saturday may be required based on business need and lab staffing)
 Works weekly rotational shift schedule as assigned, schedules are subject to change per business requirements.
 Current rotational schedule is A shifts (7:00 am -3:10 pm), B shifts (3:00pm – 11:10PM) and C shifts (11 pm – 7:10 am).
 An understanding of cGMPs and documentation in a regulated industry and experience in laboratory documentation protocols and procedures is a plus.


Scientist duties:
 Maintains and prepares instrumentation, assay setups and execution, reagents, and supply inventory
 Reviews data for accuracy and completeness. Enters data into SAP data system.
 Demonstrate understanding and effective use of statistical quality control, including the use of control charts: plotting data and reacting to out-of-control situations.
