Production Machine Operator – Scarborough, Ontario
3 shift rotations days/afternoons/nights every 2 weeks
Pay – $17hr
Work Hours: 8 hours per day – including 30 minute meal break [rotational shifts – days, afternoons & nights (may include occasional 10 hour shifts)]
Job Statement
The Production Machine Operator will be responsible for the efficient smooth running of the production machine(s) assigned on a given shift, according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies.
Essential Functions
• Performs assignments in accordance with established safety policies and procedures.
• Adheres to the Quality Policy, including all items assigned to this position in accordance with SQF policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Complies with the GMP rules and standards set.
• Refers to procedural instructions appropriate for each job, function or assignment before commencing work.
• Performs any specified quality assurance checks designated for each job, function or assignment.
• Ability to follow work rules, work independently, be flexible and be willing to perform a variety of jobs.
• Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned work sites.
• Assures that all work assigned to position is performed in accordance with specifications, instructions and requirements.
• Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within a reasonable time, depending on the degree of difficulty of their job functions.
• Other duties/functions as may be assigned from time to time.
