Position Description: Global InfoTek is seeking a Windows System Engineer to assist in building out multiple virtual networks within an air-gapped/fully-isolated AFCYBER research and development networks located on JBSA-Lackland. Intermediate knowledge of Windows system administration and Powershell is required.
Required Skills:
1. In-depth knowledge in scripting Windows-related portions of a CI/CD pipeline, including (but not limited to) Sysprepping Windows virtual machines, Managing/updating Windows virtual machine images, Managing/updating Windows docker container images, Scripting (in Powershell) Windows software installations, configurations, and updates
2. Experience in OS-neutral system administration, especially DNS, Networking, and SSL Certificates
3. Experience automating Windows software installation and configuration using Powershell
4. Experience using at least one source code management system (i.e. Git, Subversion, Mercurial, etc.)
5. Basic experience (working knowledge) of the following virtualization technologies such as Docker and Dockerfiles,
Cloud computing APIs (i.e. OpenStack, AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, etc.)
Desired Skills:
1. Experience automating the customization of Windows virtual machine images
2. Experience working in a completely isolated, air-gapped network
3. Experience with at least one of the following infrastructure automation technologies: AWS Cloud Formations, OpenStack Heat Orchestration Templates, Hashicorp infrastructure management suite (Terraform, Vagrant, and Packer), Microsoft Azure Resource Manager, and Google Cloud Deployment Manager
