Title: Redis DBA
Locations: St Louis MO
This role is working onsite 2 weeks and offsite 2 weeks in a rotation so
they need to be in the St louis area when starting the project.
Our client in St. Louis, MO, is in need of a Redis DBA for an initial
six-month contract with the strong possibility of going longer. The DBA
will be providing on-prem support, building infrastructure, and programing.
This position is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance
of production databases in compliance with application specifications and
company policies, standards and procedures, as well as managing and
maintaining all production and non-production databases.
Required skills:
– 5+ years’ experience as a database administrator
– Must have specific experience with on-prem Redis databases
– Must have a strong knowledge of database architecture and its
implementation
– Must have experience working with databases in Kubernetes (or similar)
platforms
– Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux/Solaris operating systems and shell
scripting
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work
with internal teams to proactively identify work to be done.
