Job Description
We seek an energetic, customer-focused Class A driver to join our team. Our drivers love making sure that our empty shipping containers get to their final destination, and we are confident you will enjoy it too. At Conexwest, you will have exciting journeys that change throughout the week. It is not the usual trucking position where you drive the same repetitive routes! You would mainly deliver within 150 miles of our Wilmington yard, and we provide training.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Must have working experience in driving industrial vehicles
Responsible for the safe loading and unloading to ensure quality product delivery
Must obey all regulatory company safety directives and all traffic laws
Able to communicate effectively combined with excellent customer service skills
Complete and submit all required paperwork, invoices, display forms, and load sheets within appropriate time frames
Ensure accurate completion of the Department of Transportation checklist and report maintenance problems and accidents promptly.
Load and unload empty shipping containers onto the ground
Required Skills & Abilities
Valid Class A CDL license
Clean driving record (DMV background check required)
Two years of commercial truck driving experience is preferred
Able to pass a background check
Must agree to a pre-employment drug test that produces a negative result per DOT regulations
Must be comfortable driving trucks 65 ft. or more (truck and trailer combined length)
Multi-stop deliveries
Working knowledge of manual 10-speed shift gear is a plus, automatics available
