Role: Senior Java Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX
Key responsibilities include:
Contribute to full software development life cycle
Write maintainable, extensible, tested code, while complying with coding
standards
Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
Continuously Integrate and deliver software components into a fully
functional software system
Facilitate end to end user testing with customers
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
Qualifications
8+ years of experience
AWS experience for developing applications for cloud platforms such as EC2,
Beanstalk, EKS, and/or Lambda
Kubernetes experience for developing, deploying, and orchestrating
micro-services
Experience developing applications within Docker containers
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or
CloudFormation
Expertise in multiple languages, including Java
Have used one of the common Java frameworks: Spring, Spring Boot or
similar, and any of the Java Persistence API and JDBC implementations
Understanding of concepts regarding security, privacy, performance, etc
Skills Required: CONTAINERS AND MICROSERVICES

The ideal candidate is an expert in all things JAVA (J2EE), Spring,
Springboot, Rest API, Docker, Jenkins, AWS Cloud, GitHub/GIT, Kubernetes.
You have at least 7 years of experience in JAVA EE for backend Service
development
A minimum of 2 years? experience in developing Services on Kubernetes
(Microservices) and Docker (Containerization) is a MUST.
Further you can look back on 2+ years’ experience in one of the following
Build and CICD Technologies: Github, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus or Sonar, Docker,
Terraform
Further you can showcase working experience in the following:
PostgreSQL, No-SQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB, Terraform
Advanced skills in developing platform independent object oriented and
client server applications
Understanding of SQL and Elasticsearch
Strong ability to manage competing priorities and communication to multiple
stakeholders
Has a great deal of ownership and responsibility skills
At least 2 year of experience in one of the following: MSSQL, Oracle,
PostgreSQL, No-SQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
Working experience and good understanding of public cloud environments
(AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud
