JD:
Golang development with advanced Kubernetes concepts
Linux, scripting with Python and Ruby
Expertise in Jenkins
Understanding of Unix primitives, Regexes, Docker, Helm, Groovy in the
context of Jenkins
Understanding of Kubernetes Objects and Configuration Files.
Declarative Management of resources
Ingress Controllers, Services, and Stateless and Stateful applications.
Kubernetes Operator framework knowledge and recent experience
Working knowledge of Helm and Go templating.
Understanding of Secrets management like Vault
Experience with Monitoring systems, including Prometheus, New Relic,
DataDog, etc.
Experience with building visualizations of the monitoring data.
Setup alerting to act on the data anomalies.
In addition, candidates should possess:
Ability to convey information concisely and clearly
Ability to work closely and effectively within a team environment? if
off-shore must be willing to work a schedule with a minimum of a 4-6 hours
overlap with Eastern US time zone.
Participation in software design, development, and code reviews
High level of proficiency with Computer Science/Software Engineering
knowledge and contribution to the technical skills growth of other team members
