Job Description:
Principal SAP HANA Data Dev with strong background in Data Warehouse and an
interest in driving a data-driven culture through an optimized data
architecture for delivering insights. This is a hands-on strategic role where
the individual will be responsible in the overall design of the SAP Hana based
Planning data ecosystem including Integrated Data Warehouse (IDW), and
developing a roadmap of the future state data ecosystem. A person entering this
role requires experience in data modeling, data architecture large scale
enterprise database design and management, API design, advanced reusable data
profiling techniques, and design of semantic layer.
Responsibilities :
Work with IT and business management on architecture and design patterns
alignment
Responsible for managing a team of agile SAP Hana developers to successfully
architect, design and deliver solution within identified sprints
Responsible for driving design reviews ensuring integration of data across
multiple domains and design of semantic layer for data access
Architect, design, and build enterprise-class relational and dimensional data
models.
Stay abreast of information management trends and standards, master data
management, data services, self-service business intelligence, metadata
management, data quality, and data governance.
Build & maintain Reference Model Architecture and Standards for communicating
direction of Information Architecture.
Lead design and build the data architecture layer to drive solutions that
will be implemented by the development teams.
Qualifications :
Minimum 8-9 years professional experience designing BI solutions
Experience working with enterprise SAP implementations, ability to work with
business and infrastructure to align on release streams, planning, execution
Ability to review architecture design, guide and assist data team on best
practices, review and validate implementation and design
Experience in data architecture for handling streaming and batch data within
a data warehouse landscape
Strong programming skill with at least one of the following ? Python, Java,
Scala, etc. is a plus
Data modeling tools (Erwin, Power Designer) and standards.
Experience with ETL Tools such as Informatica BDM, etc
Excellent SQL tuning knowledge and experience
Diagrams, Process Models, ER diagrams, Dimensional Data Models, and Event
modeling
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong relationship
building skills Minimum 12 Years BI data architecture experience.
Strong knowledge of XSOData and XSJS based REST service
