DescriptioN/ Required Skills:

Skills for Azure Cloud Architect:

– Deep experience in architecting, designing and administration of
public cloud Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS),
Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and XaaS.
– Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Python scripting
– Experience with Azure Network components (Virtual Network, Network
Security Group, User Defined Route, Gateway, Load Balancer)
– Experience building and configuring Network Virtual Appliances
both 3rd party
(Palo Alto Networks, Barracuda, etc.) and custom built
– Experience in High Availability architecture and Disaster Recovery
principles, patterns and usage
– Experience in Azure Back Up and Recovery modules
– Experience in Azure monitoring and logging tools
– Experience in extending Active Directory Domain Services to Azure
– Experience in both Azure Commercial and Government Cloud
– Experience in extending Active Directory Federation Services to Azure
– Experience in designing and configuring Site-to-Site VPN and Express
Route
– Experience in Dev Ops tools, processes and best practices including
automation of resource provisioning/maintenance
– Experience in Cloud Security Architecture, Governance, Best practices
and tools
– Experience in Compute and Storage area in multi-platform environment
such as Linux and Windows

Education:

Applicant must hold a BA degree from an accredited college in related field.

Plusses for Azure Cloud Architect:

-Experience with government cloud
-experience with Palo Alto Networks
