National wholesale distribution company is seeking an entry-level and detail-oriented warehouse team member. The purpose of this job is to perform general warehouse duties of picking books for shipment.

Training will be provided. Experience not necessary. Great attitude and strong work ethic is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong retention and attention to detail, a customer-centric attitude, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.

We seek to hire 3 temporary full-time warehouse associates to assist us during the busy season from July 5 through September 16, 2022. There is one opening for an associate to be hired on full time.

Essential Functions (not all-inclusive):

Locate and transfer product for sales orders that generate daily. Match physical product with description on sales order. Pick books to a mobile cart, using hand held scanner to enter picks. Move cart to the shipping area.

Prepare product for shipping utilizing company standards.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required
Entry level; zero years of relevant work experience
Ability to understand warehouse layout and locate product.
Attention to detail is a must.
Must be able to quickly identify errors and retain the knowledge of how to correct them.
Ability to thrive under deadline-based assignments.
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand up for long periods of time.
Must be able to walk up to 2 miles during the course of the work day.
Must be able to perform repetitive motions for long periods of time.
Must be able to safely climb and work on ladders.
