Queens Centers for Progress, a major non-profit agency for over 65 years, providing quality comprehensive care to individuals with developmental disabilities. Currently recruiting for a RN Supervisor to join our Residential Program in Bellerose Queens.
Oversees 24/7 nursing service for 9 group homes
Coordinates & supervises all medical & other health related services
Works with administrative team to develop & implement state, federal, OPWDD & QCP policies
Provides supervision & training of RNs, LPNs & AMAP staff
Delivers & ensures all care by assessing & triaging clients’ conditions & communicates with doctors & practitioners to develop plans of care
Participates in team meetings
Available for emergency situations
Requirements for this key position, NYS RN license & minimum 3 yrs of experience in a hospital or OPWDD setting. Demonstrated leadership skills & strong critical thinking skills.
