Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for a motivated Web/PHP developer to join our webmail team.
This individual will thrive in a fast paced Agile environment where development
priorities often change due to shifting business needs. They will also grow
their skills by taking on consistently more challenging development tasks. As a
part of our team, you will be helping develop an enterprise wide webmail
application, while contributing not only code but also thoughts on how to
improve our product, team processes, and development environments.
Required Qualifications:
– 5+ years of Enterprise-level PHP development using MVC framework, Version 5
and 7 experience required
– 5+ years of user-facing web standards and technologies including HTML5, CSS3
– 3+ years hands on experience using JavaScript libraries including
Backbone.js, React, and AngularJS
– 3+ years developing using PHP frameworks like Sympony, Zend or CakePHP
– 3+ years of LDAP or similar IMAP/SMTP experience
– 3+ years working on Agile development teams
– 1+ years of using automated pipeline for building and deploying
– Strong understanding of GIT/STASH repositories
– Basic Knowledge of Linux server environment
– Familiarity with XML and JSON data formats
– Knowledge of HTTP-based service techniques such as REST and SOAP
– Foundation in Object Oriented Programming and Design best practices, act
Beneficial Qualifications:
– 3+ years working on a Scrum team is a plus
– 3+ years using Atlassian tools: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket
– Synchronos OpenWave Messaging experience a plus
– Knowledge of Micro services architecture a plus
– DevOps experience building Jenkins CI/CD pipelines a plus
– Experience with Maven and/or Nexus NPM a plus
